A standing-height cedar column — 45 cm across, a meter tall, about 35 kg — carved from a single block. Robot-shaped, hand-sanded, varnished.
With the optional glass top (60–120 cm) it serves as a bistro table; without it, a tall pedestal. Cedar’s resins let it stand outside as well as in.

Cedar keeps working after it is carved. Small surface cracks — up to a couple of centimeters — can open over time; they are part of the wood, not a fault.
Maintenance: an occasional coat of teak oil, followed by hardwax oil, keeps the surface from drying out and slows further cracking.

Care
Care
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth; avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. Re-oil once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished. Wood is a living material — minor surface cracks of 1–2 cm are a natural characteristic, not a defect.
