This plate is hammered and chiseled from a single sheet of copper by master smiths in Turkey. A geometric medallion sits at the center, ringed by relief borders drawn from Ottoman ornament.
The surface is left unlacquered, so it darkens slowly into a natural patina. Hang it on a wall, stand it on a mantel, or use it as a charger.

Because every plate is hammered and engraved by hand, texture and geometry vary a little from piece to piece. A dry soft cloth preserves the aged surface; a mild metal polish brings back the shine if you prefer it bright.

Care
Care
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth; avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. Re-oil once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished. Wood is a living material — minor surface cracks of 1–2 cm are a natural characteristic, not a defect.
