We carve this end table from a single block of kiln-dried spruce. The robot roughs out the deep, scooped profile; we sand and varnish it by hand.
Spruce is pale and light for its size — about 15 kg — and its tight growth rings follow every curve of the carving.

Care
Care
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth; avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. Re-oil once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished. Wood is a living material — minor surface cracks of 1–2 cm are a natural characteristic, not a defect.
