Bubble is carved from one block of Anatolian cedar — 45 cm across, 70 cm tall, about 28 kg of solid wood. The robot roughs out the swelling forms; sanding and varnish are done by hand.
On its own it is an end table or a pedestal; with the optional glass top (80–120 cm) it becomes a coffee table.

Cedar keeps working after it is carved. Small surface cracks — up to a couple of centimeters — can open over time; they are part of the wood, not a fault.
Maintenance: an occasional coat of teak oil, followed by hardwax oil, keeps the surface from drying out and slows further cracking.

Care
Care
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth; avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. Re-oil once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished. Wood is a living material — minor surface cracks of 1–2 cm are a natural characteristic, not a defect.
