A 96 cm round wall panel carved in solid spruce. Here two wave fronts meet: ridges run in from the edges and interfere at the center, like currents crossing.
We build the blank up from 85 mm spruce timbers, carve the relief with the robot, then sand the ridges by hand. The cut is deep enough to catch side light, so the surface changes through the day.

Care
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth; avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. Re-oil once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished. Wood is a living material — minor surface cracks of 1–2 cm are a natural characteristic, not a defect.
